Sunrise Arkansas

Some states find their deepest valleys and call that area their Grand Canyon. This is a photo of the Arkansas Grand Canyon south of Jasper on an early October sunrise. But this is the story of 2 places. Across the road from the Arkansas Grand Canyon is Round Top Mountain. This sunrise is of the foggy morning viewing the Grand Canyon from the North Bluff of Round Top. The canyon is about 1200 feet deep and Round Top’s north bluff is up an additional 538 feet above the road in the Buffalo River country. The bluff is about a 3.5 mile hike round trip and in this case in the dark going up. This is one early shot of about an hour of taking pictures. The sun slowly rose above the valley first casting its light on the top of the fog.
