Sunrise in the Tetons

$9.99

This photo is of Schwabacher Landing in the Grand Tetons and is named after a German family who arrived to the area in the late 1800’s. The Tetons are a range in the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming and span about 40 miles. Early French-Canadian trappers gave the mountain range the name which means “big breasts” in French. Many of the peaks of the Tetons exceed 12,000 feet above the Snake River. When the wind is calm the pond creates a sensational mirrored reflection framed by spruce and cottonwood trees.
